Consortium Agreement Iowa State

If the course work is done in a community school without a consortium agreement, the tax office is not in a position to include these hours in the definition of the grant package. Note: Most scholarships require full-time enrollment from the University of Iowa. We advise you to discuss your scholarships with a financial aid advisor before you want to enter into a consortium agreement. Once you have completed the appointment, the Office of Financial Aid – Scholarships of the host institution faxes the consortium agreement form to be filled out with your registration information. You have not yet entered into a consortium in another fall or spring semester (you can only enter into a consortium agreement for an autumn/spring semester) A copy of the classes for which the student receives financial assistance must be sent to the admissions office of Iowa State University and submit the student`s long-term registration before another consortium agreement is verified. The future payment of the aid will be made until a copy is received. In the event of a consortium agreement, the WIU grant office calculates the number of hours worked by the two schools to fully account for financial assistance. Adaptations can be made to: Pell Grant, MAP Grant (if you go to a college in Illinois) and Federal Direct Loan-Funds. If a student is not enrolled in 12 credits at Iowa State University, the semester`s price is not available. If the student is full-time between Iowa State University and another university/university, the award may be extended for future semesters. However, the semester with a consortium contract remains one of the eight semesters to receive the prize. Consortium agreements are an option for students who are considering courses at another university, but who nevertheless intend to study at UNIVERSITY. It allows students to obtain financial assistance on the basis of enrolling more than one university.

To see if you have the right to enter into a consortium contract, please make an appointment. Iowa State University (ISU) is one of three public universities in the state and is located in Ames, about 190 miles west of quad-city towns. The following conditions must be met to enter into a consortium contract: the consortium contract form applies to students at Iowa State University (ISU) enrolled in less than 12 semesters of credit hours and requesting financial assistance for loans taken out to both the UIS and another institution during the same semester.
